Set up ScamShield on iPhone
Once you download the ScamShield app, it needs to to be set up correctly so that it can protect you against scammers. To do this, you will need to give the app a few permissions, so it is able to block scam calls, and filter scam SMSes.
How to set up call blocking on iPhone
Step 1: Launch ScamShield. Tap 'Set up' to get started.
Step 2: Tap 'Next' to proceed.
Step 3: Tap 'Open Settings -> Phone
Step 4: This will take you to your Settings -> Phone. Tap Call Blocking & Identification -> Tap on ScamShield to switch on the permissions.
All done! On your ScamShield home screen, you will be able to see call blocking is now active.

How to set up SMS filtering on iPhone
Step 1: Tap 'Set up' next to SMS filtering to get started.
Step 2: Tap 'Next' to proceed.
Step 3: Tap 'Settings > Messages
Step 4: This will open Settings > Messages. Scroll down and tap on Unknown & Spam.
Step 5: Tap on 'Filter Unknown Senders' if it is off. Tap on ScamShield under 'SMS Filtering' > Enable.
Please note that if you have other anti-virus or anti-scam apps that allow you to filter SMSes, you cannot enable more than one app under this feature. This is a limitation of the iOS operating system.
Step 6: ScamShield should now be enabled to filter SMSes.
All done! On your ScamShield home screen, you will be able to see SMS filtering is now active.
To check for messages which have been filtered by ScamShield, you can check your Junk Messages. Filtered SMSes will display a 'Filtered by ScamShield' label.
