Scammers are taking over Telegram accounts via fake government voucher schemes

⚠️ Fraudulent messages impersonating CDC, GST, and Transport vouchers are circulating on Telegram, tricking victims into giving up personal details and Telegram OTPs to seize control of their accounts. At least 52 cases reported since January 2026.

Phishing Scams Impersonating DBS and Shopee sent via iMessage

Scammers masquerade as DBS fraud investigators or e-commerce support, send you an iMessage alleging that a pending transaction must be verified and urge you to call a fake hotline. They then ask you to provide the one-time password (OTP) that the e-commerce platform supposedly sent.
