Installed a malicious app
Find out what to do if you have accidentally installed a malicious app.
If you've installed a malicious app from an unofficial source:
Turn on 'flight mode' on your phone.
Ensure Wi-Fi is turned off and keep it off.
Run an antivirus scan on your mobile device, if possible.
Visit a branch in person or use other uninfected devices to check your bank account, Singpass, CPF, etc. for any unauthorized transactions.
If you discover any unauthorized transactions, report them to the bank, relevant authorities, and lodge a police report online.
After completing above steps, if you believe that your phone has not been infected with malware, you may resume using your phone. Otherwise, take the additional precautions outlined below.
Additional precautions
You may consider doing a "factory reset" on your phone and change all your important passwords.
Remove any unnecessary, untrusted, or non-official Play Store apps from your device.
